In our everlasting pursuit of better performance and usability - we are planning the launch of a new homepage layout. The result will be lightning fast and easy on the eye.
What are your thoughts? - please post your comments below, we'd like to hear from you
Here are some screenshots:

(Post Updated 4-17-2009: In response to feedback on this post we've revised the new homepage and inserted a new screenshot here.)

Like most above commented, it is clean and faster. I like the idea that you still have your regular topics, only have to go in one step more. FSP is a great asset to my flight school. I like seeing everything at a glance.

Thank you ALL for your very helpful comments! We take your comments as useful and confirming of adjustments we are continuing to make. It is difficult to serve so many different types of users - but I believe we will be very close with the updates coming out next week.
The common issues requested that we will be addressing very soon:
1)I want to do everything with reservations from the home page (info pop up, edit, delete, etc.) so I don't have to click to another page to do something
2)I want a "make a reservation" button on the homepage
3) As an instructor I want quick access to my work schedule
Also ADMINS PLEASE NOTE: Button for Mass Email is now located at the top of the Company > Users page.
Thanks everyone

As an Instructor I preferred having all my reservations listed on my homepage, instead of the next five in the new format. Also the previous version gave me the opportunity to edit and cancel reservations through the homepage and not go to another page to do so.

I like the cleaner look - but can we get a link to "today's schedule?"

Looks good however I suggest a search or browse feature for the directory.

MASS EMAIL has a new location.
To access Mass Email go to:
Company > Users > Send Mass Email
"Send Mass Email" is a big green button at the top of the page.
Please let us know if there are any issues with this location.

Hi, overall nice improvements. I like that you added back the edit buttons to the reservations I seem to find myself doing a lot of on the fly modifactions for students.
Here is my problem / request. I am a flight instructor and have a lot of pending reservations. It would be quite helpful to see the reservations with a stop and start time for multiple days listed in the format used under the "My Reservations" area of the dashboard. I wouldn't mind if "My Reservations" linked to a page with a scroll bar.
thanks,

I appreciate the ability to download my bookings to my outlook calendar from my home page

I find it difficult to work with the data provided by a reservation. Having the beginingn date and time and length (in hours) of the resrvation rather than the beginning time and ending time requires me to calculate when the planes will be returning. Ideally, having both might be an answer that would satfisvy me and others who like the total time listing.

I don't like that the New Reservation has been moved from a drop down menu where it used to be next to schedule, to the middle of the home page. It's also removed when you go look at the schedule of a A/C that you might want to book, so you have to jump back to the home page to make a new reservation. Am I missing something? I tried clicking on the time slot of an A/C that I want to book, and nothing happens so it seems the only way to book and A/C is to jump back to the home page. That is not an improvement in my opinion. Otherwise a great tool.

OK, from my last comment I see the + sign on the date of the A/C that you want to book will create the New Reservation, (I guess I needed to poke around more). It still would be good to have it as a drop down as well.
