Great American Days, www.greatamericandays.com, started taking the market by storm in 2004 and continues to do so today. Based in Atlanta, GA, they have fulfilled the wishes and dreams of thousands of us who dream of flying a fighter jet but, for one reason or the other, probably just won't get it done. With todays economy being what it is, many people just want to get away from it all - well here's your chance!
From July 31st thru August 2, 2009, Great American Days will be offering you the opportunity to sit at the controls of a mighty Marchetti SF260 and learn actual tactics taught by the military. "With your hands on the controls you will execute a minimum of six combat engagements. Your flight will also be recorded from inside the cockpit and reviewed in a flight debriefing for you to take home at the end of the day."
Great American Days offers a "real deal" military adventure, complete with hands-on mid-air combat engagements and amazing g-pulling dogfights. Flights are available as incredible gifts for your special someone, for your own personal enjoyment or corporate gifts, client rewards, sales incentives and team building days.

Actually, the Marchetti is NOT a fighter jet...it's a propeller aircraft. It's definitely a fun plane and Air Combat USA programs are great, but it's misleading to say the planes are fighter jets.

The headline on this story is misleading. Air Combat USA offers a really fun flying adventure but the flights take place in high-powered propeller aircraft, not jets. You can call the Marchettis fighter planes...or military trainers, but please don't call them fighter jets!
