Good Info for Preventing Aviation Accidents

Always a subject everyone cares about...Check out http://accidents-ll.faa.gov/, a super new website from the FAA.  The site is entitled "Lessons Learned from Transport Airplane Accidents" and includes such subjects as Airplane Threat Categories and Accident Common Themes.

 

The AOPA also has an Air Safety Foundation, http://www.aopa.org/asf/safety_topics.html.  You don't have to be a member to access the site and just about any topic you'd need information for is included.

A website is a closed door unless people know about it.  You may do some of the best Flight Training in the country.  Your product or service may be the best on the market.  However, if people can't find you when they come looking, what does it matter?  Search engines are increasingly important when it comes to the right prospects finding your business.  So how does your website smell to search engines?

Hubspot has a helpful SEO tool called Website Grader that will show you how your website stacks up against your competition.

I really like this tool, it has helped us here at Flight Schedule Pro.  It points out some of the most important SEO elements and shows you where you can make improvements.

Changes to User Profile Section

You'll notice some updates to the user profile section soon. We are not just shuffling navigation for fun - there's a reason.  We had to reorganize it a bit to make way for some new customer accounting features (coming soon).

You get to this section by going to Company > Users and clicking on a user's name to load their profile.

You will see a new page in the user's profile called Login Info.  The following information has been moved to the new Login Info page:

• Username, Password and secret question and answer
• Activate/Deactivate user and reason for deactivation
• User's Locations (if your company operates more than one location on FSP)
• User's Role Assignment, user permission/preference overrides

Having all information related to login/access on one page will make it easier for you to grant login access to customers in the future.
